Would you ever relinquish your position of CEO in a company you were part of forming because you think someone else can do a better job than you?

This is exactly what George Wanjohi did. When starting out his company with his partners and friends, at some point he realized what the company needed he couldn’t provide so he gave the position to one of his business partners who could. He then moved on to focus on operations and setting up their company in different markets. Today, as part of the OMD group, the company invests billions in media through over 140 offices in over 80 countries with a goal of contributing to the success of many of the world’s leading brands.

From all this, one thing is clear, ego should never be a factor and individually one should be prepared to do what it takes for the common end goal.
